NORTH EAST FIRMS SECURES CONTRACTS WITH ABERDEEN FOOTBALL CLUB
North-east firms Perfectshine and Perfect Hygiene have secured a series of contracts including a two-year deal with Aberdeen Football Club.
The agreements – nine in total – are the latest to be secured by the companies, which are part of the same operation based at Blackburn, just outside Aberdeen.
Perfectshine is a commercial and domestic window cleaning company, while Perfect Hygiene supports washroom services, hygiene material provisions – such as dispensers, hand sanitiser and paper towels – and waste management services. Both companies are being used by the Dons to support its healthcare safety strategy at Pittodrie Stadium.
Perfectshine will be delivering power washing and cleaning services around the stadium as well as window cleaning services in the corporate boxes and sponsor signage.
Perfect Hygiene will be supplying washroom services such as hand sanitisers and feminine sanitary bins as well as sustainable paper and soap dispensers, which are environmentally friendly and saves waste.
Both companies have also secured contracts with Scottish universities, a large care-home group, a music venue, a catering company, a shredding services company, a shopping centre and serviced offices.
As part of the deal with Aberdeen Football Club, Perfectshine and Perfect Hygiene advertise on the Red Shed at the Merkland End of Pittodrie Stadium. Branding from both companies runs along the top of the famous stand.
Steve Kennedy, managing director of Perfectshine and Perfect Hygiene, said: “Our experienced team and their commitment to customer service have been key factors in winning these latest contracts. The fact we are local, professional and easy to engage with has made a difference in securing this work. We listen to our customers and take on board suggestions that will improve the service offered by both companies.”
He added: “We are delighted to secure the agreements with Aberdeen Football Club and be part of the team that prioritise its healthcare and hygiene strategy. It’s great to see the club supporting local businesses and this work, coupled with the other contracts we have won, will allow us to grow and move forward as a business.
In addition, we are thrilled to be advertising on the Red Shed and this will help to raise our profile.”
Amy Thomson, key account manager at Aberdeen Football Club, said: “Aberdeen Football Club is delighted to be working with Perfectshine and Perfect Hygiene to help raise their profile in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas. They have shown great commitment to the club over the years and now as our contracted stadium cleaners I am sure the relationship will continue to flourish.
We are always looking at innovative ways to cultivate sustainable relationships with local companies who see the clear advantages of being part of the AFC family and with their new advertising in place in the Merkland Stand I am sure Perfectshine and Perfect Hygiene will enjoy the benefits of increased brand visibility at Pittodrie.”
Last month it was announced Perfectshine had acquired Elite Exterior Cleaning, based in Kingseat, near Newmachar. The acquisition has added 900 residential clients to Perfectshine for a variety of window cleaning, gutter cleaning, power washing and other specialist cleaning services.
Perfectshine was honoured to achieve a distinct royal accolade when it received two Royal Warrants – one from Her Majesty The Queen and the other from His Royal Highness The Prince Of Wales, Duke of Rothesay, to formally acknowledge the window cleaning services it supplies to two Royal Households. It was the only UK firm to receive two such seals of approval in the 2021 announcement.
Perfectshine primarily operates in the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire areas, but also has contracts in the Highlands, Tayside and the Central Belt. The company provides window, gutter and cladding cleaning as well as power washing services to commercial and residential clients. Perfect Hygiene, which also provides entrance mats, operates across Scotland.
